Avocado smoothie with banana

A healthy, delicious and beautifully easy recipe. This smoothie makes for a perfect breakfast drink if you struggle to eat whole foods early morning. It also works great as a pre or post workout smoothie - the banana gives a good level of energy as well as being the ideal recovery food after a training session due to its high level of potassium. Or simply enjoy this smoothie as a mid-afternoon healthy treat.
INGREDIENTS:
1 banana

1/2 avocado
​
Lime juice
​
Mint leaves (plus extra to garnish)

Water
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth, adding water as you go to achieve your desired consistency.
Add more water if the mixture is too thick.
Garnish with a couple of mint leaves. Enjoy!
