Berry smoothie

I love this deliciously sweet and healthy smoothie, it makes for a lovely summer drink served over ice. Feel free to substitute the berries with seasonal alternatives, for example I like to add strawberries in strawberry season, and a little lime juice adds a nice extra taste.
Smoothies really are a great way to get a good daily portion of fruit and veg, plus they allow you to experiment with different flavours, finding what works great for you.
INGREDIENTS:
A handful of blueberries
A handful of raspberries
1tsp chia seeds
Mint leaves (plus extra to garnish)
Oat milk
Water
Ice to serve (optional)
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth.
Add more water if the mixture is too thick.
The amount of oat milk/water you put in will depend how creamy you prefer your smoothie - this is entirely up to you.
Serve with ice and garnish with a couple of mint leaves.
Tip - in the summer months keep your berries in the freezer ready to add to the blender for a cooler drink.
