No-bake chocolate energy balls

I really love these "no-bake" energy balls as they require very little time and effort. I normally add a scoop of my vegan protein powder from The Protein Works, of course you can choose whichever flavour you prefer, my favourite is the salted caramel which I think goes great with the peanut butter in this recipe. 

INGREDIENTS:

 

1 cup quick oats

3 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup maple or golden syrup

1 scoop protein powder

1 tbsp almond milk

1-2 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp salt

Add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix well until all of the mixture is combined.

 

Roll the mixture into balls (roughly the size of a ping-pong ball) and place on a large plate. 

 

Leave in the fridge to set for 1-2 hours, although they can also be eaten immediately.
